“ I visited Madina Grill on 13th September and had an excellent experience. I ordered the Lamb Donner Twist, Naga Wings, and Masala Fries, and we also tried the Fish Naga Biryani. Every dish was spot on full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The service was just as impressive as the food. The staff were friendly, highly professional, and went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. The restaurant itself was very clean and welcoming, which made the visit even better. I really appreciate the effort from the whole team thank you, and I’ll definitely be returning! ”
“ I was searching for a halal restaurant to eat and found this place. I really liked the food, I ate the masala chicken burger. It has much flavour and it is juicy. The mango cheese cake was also a real delight. Friendly staff and a real good ambiance. As I understood there is also a prayer room downstairs. I would recommend this restaurant! ”
“ Madina Grill is a solid spot with great flavour and generous portions. The food was fresh, well-seasoned, and satisfying. Service was quick and friendly, and it’s good value for money. Definitely a reliable go-to when you want something tasty and filling. ”
“ Good food, great service. Nice restaurant, close to East London Mosque. I enjoyed the chops, loaded fries were nice, maybe slightly thicker fries would have been better. Chicken was flavoursome. Nice pistachio cake and masala tea for desserts. Recommended! ”
“ Madina Grill – Cannon Street Road, East London (5/5) – An absolute gem! Came here on a chilly November evening with three mates, and Madina Grill straight-up delivered one of the best desi-grill feeds we’ve had in ages. The vibe inside is proper no-nonsense East London: bright lights, steaming grills, Bollywood tunes in the background and that unmistakable smell of charcoal and spices that hits you the second you walk in. We went big and ordered: • Lamb Tikka Biriyani (ALS): Massive plate, fragrant long-grain basmati loaded with tender, smoky lamb tikka pieces that literally fell apart. The spice level was spot-on – enough heat to wake you up but not drown the flavour. Came with a cooling raita and a little salad that actually tasted fresh. • Brisket Burger 3-course meal (me): Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had in London, desi or otherwise. 6oz brisket patty cooked pink in the middle, dripping with melted cheese, crunchy onions, proper spicy mayo and that soft brioche bun that holds everything together. The 3-course deal is ridiculous value – started with crispy chicken wings, main was the burger with loaded fries, and finished with a warm gulab jamun that was pure comfort. • Half Peri-Peri Chicken 3-course (Mini): Perfectly charred, juicy as anything, sauce on the side so you control the heat. Lemon & herb for him but still packed flavour. Same insane value with starters and dessert. • Half Chicken Meal – Hot (Az): My man wanted to feel alive. He got it. Flames licked, properly spicy, but you could still taste the marinade. He was sweating, smiling and quiet for a solid ten minutes – highest praise possible. Portions are massive (we all needed doggy bags), service was quick and super friendly – the guy at the counter even threw in extra sauces when he saw us destroying everything. Prices are laughably good for the quality and quantity; four of us ate like kings and still walked out under £25 a head including drinks. If you’re anywhere near Tower Hill, Aldgate East or Whitechapel and fancy proper grilled desi food that doesn’t mess about, get yourself to Madina Grill on Cannon Street Road. We’re already planning the next visit. 100% coming back. Probably next week. P.S. The mango lassi is thick, icy and dangerous – one is never enough. ”
